Windows 10 downloads folder keeps closing

 · Upgraded all our PC's from Win 7 to 10 over past couple of months. Went fairly smoothly. Now I'm getting complaints from several users that windows, mostly file explorer windows I believe, just close for no apparent reason. I have a standard server running group policies and 50 users using the current version of windows 10 pro We have set the group policies to "update" instead of "replace" this did not fix issue of file exployer closing randomly. In Windows 10, the Downloads folder shortcut can be found under the ‘Quick Access’ listing on the top left side of Windows Explorer. From the right click pop-up menu, click on Properties. Right-click on the Start button or Windows logo and select Settings. Step 2. Go to Update Security. Step 3. Click on Check for Updates. Step 4. If there are any pending updates, click on Download and Install them. After performing this method, check if the File Explorer is still causing issues.
